 Candidate HUNTER, Robert Neil has been elected to the position of Algonquin Negotiation Representative for the community of KIJICHO MANITO MADAOUSKARINI.

 The following provides the final results of the 2022 Election for the community of KIJICHO MANITO MADAOUSKARINI.

The time for receiving any protest regarding the election expires on Thursday November 10th, 2022 at 9:15 PM.

The Protest Form is available at www.onefeather.ca/nations/algonquins . Any Protest Form that is submitted must be signed by the protestor and ten other Electors within the Community and must be delivered to the Electoral Officer Thursday, November 10th, 2022 at 9:15 PM.

All protests must be accompanied by a payment of $200.00 payable in trust to the Electoral Officer (to defray the expenses of the protest) and to be returned in the event of a successful protest.

Nominations for the 2022 By-Elections for the position of Algonquin Negotiation Representative (ANR) in KIJICHO MANITO MADAOUSKARINI are now closed. Following are the results of that nomination process:

* This nomination was received by the Electoral Officer prior to the close of the nomination period, but the Candidate must provide a current level 1 Criminal Record Check, dated no longer than three months prior to their nomination, to the Electoral Officer within 10 days following the close of nominations.

The filing of any protest against the nomination process shall be subject to paragraph 9 of the Election Rules within the 2021 ANR Election Process. To protest the eligibility of a Candidate, the protest must be received by the Electoral Officer no later than 4:00 PM on September 28, 2022. Strict adherence to the designated time limits will be maintained. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

Disposition of protests against Nominations by the Electoral Officer will be determined by September 28th, 2022 at 8:00pm. The final list of Candidates will be updated no later than September 29th, 2022.
